MTV

I never actually realized how much MTV has changed but after watching the MTV video I really noticed a lot of changes. Ever since I was a little kid I have always watching MTV and it used to be one of my favorite channels. Back in the days it used to be videos being played almost the whole time. Today, there is barely any music videos playing and if they are it is in the early morning. It is pretty pointless to have them playing in the early morning because for real who is going to wake up and watch them in the early morning? Most people that watch TV early in the morning either have the news on or cartoons for their children. Looking at MTV today there are many changes. There is not only one channel anymore there is now MTV and MTV2 which each have different shows on them. Mostly all the air time is taken up by shows and not music videos. The one main thing that built up MTV was TRL and they canceled that a few years ago and the only yearly event is the music awards. The content shown on it and the language has also changed dramatically. Music videos today are completely different from the ones shown in the video especially with how people dress and the dancing. The one thing that I learned from this video was how they got the whole moon man for MTV. I never knew why it was always shown, but from the beginning of the video with the space shuttle and the man on the moon with the MTV flag I now understand it.
